Welcome to Herefordshire Farmers' Markets Group Website, where you will
find information about how and where to buy some of the very best produce
this lovely county can offer. In Herefordshire, a wide variety of produce
is available, including fresh fruit and vegetables, fruit juices, wine,
bread and cakes, eggs, meat, cheeses, plants - and the list goes on!
Current markets take place twice monthly in Hereford, Saturday and Thursday, and monthly in Leominster and Ross-on-Wye.
Markets for August are:
* Ross-on-Wye Farmer's Market: Friday 6th
* Hereford Farmer's Market: Saturday 7th
* Leominster Farmer's Market: Saturday 14th
* Hereford Farmer's Market: Thursday 19th

Farmers' Markets work two ways; local producers can sell their own
produce directly to the consumer on a regular basis, and consumers have the
assurance that the produce they buy is not only locally produced, but also
meets the very highest standards required by the HFMG and FARMA. To read more about the

Herefordshire Farmers' Markets Group (HFMG) was set up in September 2003
by a democratic co-operative of local farmers in Partnership with
Herefordshire Council. This website has been part funded by the European
Union and DEFRA through the Herefordshire Rivers LEADER+ programme.
